Bold, magnetic, and undeniably danceable, La Manga delivers a one-of-a-kind performance that combines the powerful grooves of Afro-Caribbean Colombian traditions with the dynamic presence of an all-female band.
Formed in New York City in October 2021. Currently they are Dan Santos, Alex Perloff, Erik Reyes, And Declan Moy Bishow.

Our volunteers come from every walk of life: various cultures, skill sets, and ages. We're an Each One, Teach One garden and everyone from our youth to our grownups have something to share with one another.
In September 2017, when we first got the keys to this land, we had 7-foot tall weeds to contend with. We rolled up our sleeves, borrowed weed wackers, loppers, and got to work clearing some space. See more BEFORE pics in our 'early days' photo gallery.
Youth from local schools and organizations use our space to learn about growing food, how bees contribute to our food system, mutual aid, and what community composting is all about.
